, which is a recycled sketch from a recent painting of mine. I used the Color blending mode, rather than Multiply or Overlay. Experimented a lot and learned a lot. Pros to grayscale+color = I get tones and hues that I wouldn't think to add with the basic direct-color method. I'll keep experimenting with this technique and hopefully mesh everything I learned into something awesome one day.
